Nigerian singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asaka, has offered insights into his trajectory into the music industry.

Mr Money, as he is fondly called, made the disclosure in a recent interview with African Voices, admitting that he enjoys dancing, hence the decision to move to that path for a while.

According to him, reality dawned on him that the monetary renumeration for dancing could not guarantee financial security, leading him to change the course of his career and transition fully into music.

Asake said that quitting music for dancing wasn't easy, especially with the attention he was already garnering, however, the difference in the financial benefit between the two careers made him choose one.

"I love dancing so much, I can’t do without dancing, but the truth is I had to leave it because of my love for money because I know the type of money I want dancing can’t give me."
