"There Should Be Restraint In Content Creation" – Kie Kie Admonishes Colleagues
Nigerian skitmaker and actress Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kie Kie, has emphasized the importance of restraint and boundaries in content creation.
The energetic media personality made the disclosure during the Creative Blueprint 2.0, organized by Funke Akindele. Kie Kie used herself as an example, revealing that she has created a boundary between her brand and her personal life.
Speaking about her family, she explained that the main reason she doesn't feature her husband, Tunji Ilori in her content is due to his lack of humour. She noted how her daughter, Nola easily suits her content due to her ability to act for the camera.
She, however, clarified that as much as she features her daughter in her skit, reverse is the case during academic period.
Kie Kie urged her colleagues to ensure to keep a gap between what they showcase about their family in their content, stressing the need to avoid oversharing.
"I have created a very thick line between what is personal to me as Oluwabukunmi Adeaga Ilori and what is personal to my brand as Kiekie. What are the elements of my brand? Event and TV host, actor, content creator. What is my content? Comic."
