Nigerian rapper and songwriter Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has shared his view on the issue of artistes and fanbase rivalry, emphasizing its importance in the music industry.

The 'ACL' crooner shared his take in a candid interview with YouTuber Korty EO, asserting that rivalry is a leading factor behind the relevance of Afrobeats stars Davido and Wizkid.

He explained that both artistes public feud has largely contributed to their dominance in the music industry, maintaining that love shouldn't be entertained as it could affect the duo's relevance.

Blaqbonez further added that no matter what happens in the music industry, the rivalry among artistes fanbase should never change, posting that it consists of a great composition of the music industry.

"Wizkid and Davido can never fade. That hatred is the reason why they will be relevant forever. When they love each other, it is over. Love is for children. Artists can love each other, but the fans should never love each other."
