"I Have Forgiven, But I Can't Forget" - Destiny Etiko Seemingly Sends Message To Ekene Umenwa
Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko, has seemingly sent a message to her colleague, Ekene Umenwa.
The actress, who recently expressed her hurt over the reported stories fabricated against her took to her Instagram page to comment further.
Destiny noted how the person asked for forgiveness, and although she forgave her; she cannot forget, as this is an abomination and a stain on her name.
She cited how many lies were fabricated against her because the people the person was with were applauding her for being a good child to her mother.
Giving her verdict, Etiko stated that though she cannot remember hurting the person; however, she has forgiven, but won't forget.
She wrote:
"You asked for forgiveness, and I forgave u
But I can’t forget, cos this is an abomination and a dent to my name, over something I can’t imagine, let alone execute.
U fabricated so many lies against me just because the people you were with were applauding me for being a good child to my mother.
I can’t remember hurting u
I have forgiven, but I can’t forget
I’m pained cos my mom herself has received a lot of calls as regards to this.
She is saddened and disappointed that u could do this as a Christian.
Pls can u tell the world why u would betray the one you call sister?."
Destiny Etiko's latest post can be connected to the recent news of upcoming actress Adanma Waller, aka Priscawalls, sharing a video exposing Ekene for all the lies she told her about her colleagues. She mentioned several colleagues whom Ekene badmouthed. The likes of Ruby Ojiakor, Lizzy Gold, Chioma Chijioke, Uche Nancy, Chinedu Isaac, and more were included.
Hurt by the revelation, Etiko, via her Instagram page, stated that she thought they were sisters and questioned why Ekene was lying.
