Nigerian Tiktoker and streamer, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has opened up about how his release from prison came about.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Peller was involved in a car crash on Sunday in Lagos in December 2025, which damaged his newly acquired Benz. In a viral video before the tragic incident that left him hospitalized, Peller could be seeing expressing suicidal thoughts, following his messy break-up with his girlfriend, Jarvis.

The Tiktoker was further arrested by the Lagos Police command over the risk poised by his intentional car crash.

Reminiscing on the incident on Saturday, at the premiere of 'Love & New Notes,' Peller embraced Funke Akindele, revealing that she came to his aid during his arrest in December.

In the viral video, the Streamer said:
“she was the one who helped me when I was in prison. She was the one who helped my life."
