Breaking: Actress, Aunty Ajara Is Dead
Nollywood actress, Ajara Lasisi, professionally known as Aunty Ajara, is dead.
The news of the actress' demise was made public by her colleague, Tobi Oladdele Teemony, on his Instagram page on Thursday.
In his caption, he revealed that Aunty Ajara gave up the ghost overnight, following a "long and courageous battle with illness."
He also stated that before her death, she was a beneficiary of immense love, prayers, and financial assistance from several individuals across the world. He appreciated everyone who showed up for her during her battle with illness.
The Yoruba actor further urged the public to refrain from sending money to the previously shared account, because it is of no use.
He wrote:
"With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved actress, Aunty Ajara.
She passed on overnight after a long and courageous battle with illness.
During this difficult period, Ajara received immense love, prayers, and financial support from kind-hearted people across the world. We are deeply grateful to everyone who stood by her with prayers, contributions, encouragement, and compassion.
At this moment, we kindly urge family, friends, and the general public to please stop sending money to the previously shared account, as it is no longer required.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, loved ones, and everyone grieving this painful loss.
May her soul rest in perfect peace."
Recall that The Nigerian Voice recently reported that Wumi Toriola in a viral video on her Instagram page, had appealed to the public to render financial assistance to Aunty Ajara, over her battle with illness. Other colleagues also reposted the video, clamouring on the public for help, stressing that the actress was in a critical condition.
