"We Don't Have Enough People Who Genuinely Care About Nigeria" – Tacha
Big Brother Naija star Natsha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has attributed a great deal of Nigeria's problems to lack of genuine love among its citizens.
In a recent post on the popular microblogging platform, X (formerly known as Twitter), the former reality star stated that corruption is not the country's biggest problem, but genuine love.
According to her, only few individuals care about the country, while several people have no real idea of patriotism
Tacha stressed that until the problem of lack of genuine love for the country by Nigerians is fixed, there will be no progress.
She wrote:
"Corruption is not Nigeria’s biggest problem. The real problem is the lack of love for the country.
We don’t have enough people who genuinely care about Nigeria, and that’s where everything starts from.
A large percentage of Nigerians don’t even understand what it means to love their country. Because if you truly love Nigeria, you will do right by it. And until that is fixed, we can’t make real progress."
