"The Last Time I Spoke To My Kids Was Mid-November" - Regina Daniels Reveals, As She Shares Touching Video Call Moment With Sons, Lambasts Ned Nwoko
Embattled Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, has expressed strong emotions following her prolonged absence from her children, due to the messy online battle with her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
The mother of two, via her Instagram page, shared a video of herself and her children on a video call, revealing that while people believe she is happy, she is not at peace due to her absence from her kids' lives.
Slamming Ned for repeatedly posting videos and images of her children, Regina described the act as a "deliberate pursuit of negative attention." She wondered how a public figure would be so inconsiderate to keep posting his kids online despite the delicate nature of his marital issues, thereby exposing them to media scrutiny.
Regina also revealed that she had spoken to her children last since mid-November, accusing Ned of dismissing her nannies and pressuring them to testify falsely against her of violence and alcohol abuse in front of her children. She also noted how he had filed for full custody of his children, despite already having them under his care.
Sending a strong message, she admitted that she misses being a mum, and she will do all in her power to get her kids.
She wrote:
“People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away.
The repeated public exposure of my children reflects a troubling and deliberate pursuit of negative attention by their father. It is implausible that a public figure, particularly one with legislative experience, would be unaware that posting our children publicly at this time would inevitably attract media scrutiny. These actions make it reasonable to question whether his behaviour is motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility. I decided to stay off the matter to avoid causing more nuisance in this media space, but clearly this man keeps acting like a baby. Meaning it’s now safe to call this one-term senator a content creator.
The last time I spoke to my kids was mid-November. Ned dismissed all my nannies, pressured them into making false statements accusing me of violence and alcohol abuse in front of the children, and has since filed for full custody, despite already having the children in his care.
I am left to wonder whether I am truly such a threat that I am being challenged so aggressively. I may be young, but I am such a mum, I enjoy being a mum, and I miss being a mum. It’s so crãzy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children.
I will definitely see my kids soon!."
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko, were involved in a messy online battle in November. The ruckus began after a video surfaced of the actress accusing Senator Ned Nwoko of domestic abuse and maltreatment, claiming that she is being treated anyhow in his house. Following these accusations were a series of claims against Ned.
In response to the accusations made against him, Ned, in a post via his social media pages, accused Regina of drugs and substance abuse, attributing her claims against him to be the effects of refusing to go for rehabilitation despite doing his best to make sure she went for it.
