Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is mourning the death of his friend and associate, Denisi.
The news of Denisi's AKA Ego 222 demise made the rounds on social media some days ago, with reports indicating that he reportedly died in South Africa. His death was made public by Joel Heugh Booysen on his Instagram stories.
Confirming his associate's death on his Instagram story, Davido shared several photos of himself and the deceased, revealing that he loved and believed in him strongly.
Making a final tribute, he vowed to never let him down.
He wrote:
"You loved and believed in me so much!
I won’t let you down."
