Boluwatife Balogun, the first son of Afrobeats star, Wizkid, has made his view known on the increasing rate of insecurity and terrorism that has plagued several states in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Voice recalls the report of the killing of three persons during a church programme at a branch of the Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, in Kwara State on Tuesday evening, with the abduction of some members and the pastor.

This incident follows the tragic abduction of 25 secondary schoolgirls in Kebbi State on Monday, November 17, 2025.

Much to the dismay of the public, there was also another report of bandits kidnapping students and teachers at St. Mary's Papiri Private Catholic Secondary School Papiri, Agwara LGA, Niger State.

Reacting to the recent tragic incidents on the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter, Bolu stated that he is making his views known not because he is special, but he is part of a generation that has refused to keep silent.

Declaring himself and other youths as the future of Nigeria, he stated that they will not accept a future plagued by fear, praying for God's blessing over every missing child.

He further prayed for God's healing over Nigeria, amid the ongoing crisis.

He wrote:
“I speak today not because I am special,
but because I am part of a generation that refuses to stay silent.

We are the future of this country, and we will not accept a future filled with fear.

May God protect every child still missing
And may God heal this nation that we all love."
