"After 'Ramadan' Buzz, I Became Depressed" - Singer Tolibian
Nigerian singer, Abubakar O. Abdulmutolib, better known as Tolibian, has opened up on how he went into depression following the fading of his hit song 'Ramadan'.
Recall that Tolibian released 'Ramadan' in 2024, which was targeted at the Muslim annual fasting.
The song however, gained traction during this year's Muslim fasting from the period of February to March.
Speaking in a recent conversation with content creator Akin Abolade, Tolibian emphasized that despite the buzz and traction that 'Ramadan' had during the fasting period, it faded quickly, and made him depressed.
He said:
"After the buzz of ‘Ramadan’ faded, I became depressed at some point."
