Popular Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has hit back at critics of his decision to send a fan out of his concert.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Burna Boy sparked outrage on social media after ordering a couple to leave his show for sleeping.

The action led to numerous criticisms among many netizens, including the lady who was kicked out, who slammed the artiste for being inconsiderate.

Reacting to the heavy criticisms in a recent livestream, Burna Boy stated that he never told anyone to be his fan. He emphasized that he is only on the lookout for wealthy fans during this period.

He said:
"Did I tell you all to be my fans? I am only looking for fans who have money this period."
