“It's Only Going To Get Worse This Festive Season" - Ruger Bemoans Kidnapping Rate
Popular Nigerian singer, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known as Ruger, has bemoaned the increase in kidnapping across the country.
The singer expressed his displeasure at the act in a post on the popular microblogging platform, X formerly known as Twitter.
Ruger expressed fear for people ahead of December which is a festive season, noting how kidnapping has become a full-time business in some parts of Nigeria.
He further stressed that it will get worse if nothing is done to curb it ahead of the upcoming festive season.
He wrote:
“I’m scared for people this December. Kidnapping has become a full-time business in some parts of Nigeria and it’s only going to get worse this festive season. People will travel back to their villages from abroad and from many other places in Nigeria. These bastards will strike hard.”
