"Fireboy Taught Me How To Compose Songs" - Oxlade Credits Fireboy For His Musical Success
Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known as Oxlade, has credited Afrobeats star Fireboy, for playing a huge part in his music career.
The 'Away' crooner, while speaking in a recent interview with popular streamer, Shank Comics, revealed that Fireboy's pen game is unmatched in the Nigerian music industry, revealing that the singer taught him how to properly compose songs, "When it comes pen game, nobody is touching him [Fireboy]. I learnt how to properly compose music from Fireboy. He was miles ahead", he said.
Sharing further details on how the singer impacted his career, Oxlade revealed that Fireboy was the main part of his transition into making proper music, adding that the singer kept putting him on, “He was part of my transition into making proper music before I started doing my own thing. He putting me on was life-changing," he said.
