Kizz Daniel Elated As He Retrieves Masters Of Debut Album 'New Era' From Former Record Label
Afrobeats star, Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kizz Daniel, has expressed joy over his successful retrieval of the masters of his debut album, New Era, from his former record label, G-Worldwide.
An excited Kizz Daniel took to his X handle on Monday to share the good news, while revealing that he now owns the right to every song of his debut album 'New Era', including both his hit singles 'Yeba' and 'Sofa'.
The 'Al-Jannah' crooner described the development as "more than words can explain", while thanking his fans for riding with him.
Kizz Daniel wrote:
"From long nights in the studio to several meditations, finally, I now own every song on the ‘New Era album’ 2016 + Yeba & Sofa (singles).
“I got my masters back. This means more than words can explain. Thank you for riding with me. #NewEra #MyCatalog #Grateful.”
Recall that Kizz Daniel, who was formerly signed under G-Worldwide, released his debut album 'New Era', on May 14, 2016.
The singer however, announced his exit from G-Worldwide in November 2017, and founded his own label Flyboy I.N.C.
Kizz Daniel's action led to a court case between him and his former label boss, Emperor Geezy, but was acquitted of all charges.
