‎Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Omoni Oboli, has called on her colleagues in the movie industry to support one another.

‎The movie star noted that no one is coming to save them, stating that they are all they have, and must show intentionality to survive.

‎According to her, it's not easy currently, but supporting those who are putting in the efforts to improve the movie industry is greatly needed.

‎She cited how despite the difficulties faced, some people still keep shooting movies because of their passion for the craft, while urging actors, producers, and crew to support each other.

‎She wrote on Instagram:
‎"Dear Nollywood,
‎Nobody is coming to save us! We are all we have, but we are enough. We must he intentional about our survival. It’s hard all around. I know, but let’s support the ones fighting tooth and nail to keep the industry running. Let’s not choke them.

‎A lot of people aren’t getting a return on their investment, but they keep going because they believe in and hope for better days. Let’s work together.
