"Address Insecurity, Economic Hardship" - Yul Edochie Tells Tinubu After Benue Massacre
Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has offered crucial advice to President Bola Tinubu regarding Nigeria's worsening insecurity crisis.
Recall that The Nigerian Voice reported that around 200 people were killed in an attack on Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State
Following the killings, many well-meaning Nigerians have been criticizing the government for failing to address the incessant killings, with many celebrities joining the public in calling out the government.
Yul, who is a staunch supporter of President Tinubu, shared the President's photo on Instagram with an accompanying message clarifying that Nigerians' frustrations stem from economic hardship and security challenges rather than personal animosity toward the leader.
While commending Tinubu's infrastructural developments and policy initiatives, the actor urged decisive action on pressing national issues:
Yul wrote:
"Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, @officialasiwajubat
Nigerians do not hate you, they hate the situation they find themselves in, which is the hardship & insecurity in the country.
His Excellency Sir, you have done so well in infrastructure and laid down some good policies.
Tackle insecurity and high cost of living and you'll write your name with gold in the hearts of Nigerians."
