Davido Reunites With First Daughter Imade After Custody Battle
Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed his joy after finally reuniting with his first daughter, Imade Adeleke.
The reunion comes after a contentious custody battle between Davido and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu. In April 2024, the singer filed a lawsuit at the Lagos State High Court, accusing Sophia of denying him access to their daughter and seeking custody.
In response, Sophia submitted a 102-paragraph counter-affidavit opposing Davido’s claims, alleging that he neglected his parental responsibilities after she stopped having a sexual relationship with him.
In a heartwarming turn of events, Davido took to his Instagram story on Wednesday to share loving photos with Imade, calling it "the best day of my life."
He captioned the photos:
