"He Is Directly Contradicting What Was Said In The Bible" - Daniel Regha Criticizes Isaac Oyedepo's Rule On Tithe And Offerings
Social media critic, Daniel Regha, has criticized Isaac Oyedepo, the founder of the Isaac Oyedepo Evangelistic Ministries, over his proclamation on tithes and offerings.
Recall that Isaac Oyedepo in a viral video on Sunday, January 11, announced that his ministry will begin Sunday services in Abuja, and he would not collect offerings. He revealed that his decision is to focus on improving spirituality, rather than focusing on traditional biblical practices.
Reacting to the clergyman's comment, Regha asserted that "he doesn't know what he's talking about," stating that it's impossible for God to instruct him not to collect offerings, when it has been written in the Bible.
He further stated that Oyedepo's claim is a direct contrast to what was written in the Bible, wondering why the same message wasn't issued to his father.
He wrote:
"Oyedepo son doesn't know what he's talking about as a pastor, cos there's no way God will instruct him to stop collecting offerings when the bible clearly states the importance of both tithes and offerings. He is directly contradicting what was said in the bible, even in Malachi 3 vs 8 to be precise. So unless he's serving a different god, the one who give him such instructions can't be the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Doesn't Winners Chapel collect offerings, so why wasn't the same instructions given to his father?."
