Popular Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright, has revealed that her children saved her during her battle with depression.

The actress shed more light on it during a recent interview with Teju Babyface, she said that during the time she was facing depression, and she was taking antidepressants, her children came to her rescue, and made her come out of it.

She said:
Let me say that there was a time I was depressed, and I was taking antidepressants. But my children had to wean me off them. They have always been my number one critics.

“I don’t know if I could call them my pillars of life. They know that I would live my life for them. So, they tell me, ‘Hey, Iya, you have been living your life for us, but it is now time to live for yourself. Enjoy yourself and have fun’.”
