Controversial popular Nigerian UK based clergyman, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, is set to be deported from the United Kingdom, over allegations of financial misappropriation.
According to reports from the Telegraph, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega was found to have been involved in misappropriation of funds meant for his church, Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church SPAC Nation.
Further investigations showed that the clergyman misappropriated his church funds of about £1.87 million. After being probed, he was unable to account for the funds, and was found guilty of not being transparent with handling the church's funds.
In addition, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega was also faced with the case of unlawfully residing in the UK, since his visitor's visa expired in 2005, and the judgement of the immigration tribunal was that the clergyman should be deported to Nigeria.
