"Leave Any Sentiments Or Loyalty You Have To Tribe, Religion Or Politics" – ID Cabassa Admonishes Public Amid Insecurity, Killings
Veteran producer and music executive Olumide Ogunade, professionally known as ID Cabassa, has weighed in on the incessant killings and insecurity that has plagued several regions in Nigeria.
Joining the train of celebrities who have lent their voice to the pressing issue, ID Cabassa shared a video on his Instagram page, expressing sadness over the recent turn of events.
According to him, it is time for everyone to keep aside their sentiments or loyalty to tribe, religion or politics in order to collectively fight against the high rate of insecurity.
He further lambasted the government, clamouring for a drastic change in addressing the recent killings, stressing that it should stop immediately.
He wrote:
"We cannot keep moving on like nothing happened! Leave any sentiments or loyalty you have to tribe/religion/political party/associations. The government of the day needs to fix up.... They are killing our people yet we move on like it's normal!!!! NO THIS SHOULD STOP."
Recall that social media has been on fire following the news of the abductions of some students, parents and teacher in Oyo state.
The tragic incident was further compounded by the gruesome slaughter of a Mathematics teacher in Oyo State, identified as Michael Oyedokun.
