Controversial actor turned pastor, Yul Edochie has chastised Nigerians for having little or no knowledge about their ancestral lineage.

The founder of True Salvation Ministry "TSM" noted that many Nigerians are familiar with stories in the Bible and are unaware of their ancestors.

He advised that instead of many to just have knowledge about biblical personalities like Moses, Isaac, Jacob and the people of Israel, they should also try to know about their history.

He concluded by stating that if you don't have a knowledge of where you are coming from, you won't know where you are heading to.

Yul made this known on his Facebook page:
"We have been brainwashed to know everything about Moses, Isaac, Jacob and the people of Israel. Yet we know nothing about our ancestors, their exploits, and the great people in our lineage.

“If you don’t know who you are and where you are coming from, you will never know where you are heading to."
