Controversial self-acclaimed activist, Martins Otse, best known as VeryDarkMan has called on President Tinubu to remove or reshuffle the Minister of power Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

VeryDarkMan's clamour for the removal or reshuffling of the Minister of power is directed at the news passed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy had on Wednesday stating that "cabinet reshuffling is eminent."

Expressing his view on the information, VeryDarkMan made a video on his Facebook page urging the president to please leave the Ministers who are performing.

Speaking further, he advised that the Minister of power be removed attributing the reason to the Band A, Band B and Band C, which has been the division of electricity across the country.

He described it as a form of segregation because it made some people feel more important than others. He noted how one person should enjoy up to 20 hours of light in a day, while another person cannot be able to enjoy the same due to different Bands.

He said:
"If at all any minister must be removed or reshuffled, it should be the Minister of Power. They need to remove that guy.

“My reason is this, the segregation surrounding the Band A, Band B and Band C issues makes no sense. What is the reason for that segregation? Are you trying to say that poor people do not have access to light?

“Is it that the poor people are not supposed to use light for 24 hours? It makes no sense because we are all Nigerians.”
