The Nollywood industry has lost one of its own in person of actress, Sharon Okpamen.

The death of the actress comes as a big shock to many, as the actress gave birth to her second child almost a month ago.

The news of her death was made public by her colleague, Stanley Ontop. Herevealed Sharon's death on his Instagram account.

Stanley Ontop wrote on his Instagram account:
“Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on.

“It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur & humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry.

“May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen @sharonokpamen.”
