Popular Nigerian rapper and activist, Falz, has opened up about his journey as an activist and what influenced him.

Recall that Falz has been using his songs to fight against bad governance for many years including headlining the #ENDSARS Protest in Lagos in 2020, which saw his activism taken to another level.

Falz opened up that his journey into activism was influenced by Afrobeats icon, Fela Kuti and his own father, Femi Falana.

Making this known on Menisms Podcast, Falz revealed that seeing and listening to the good things that his father has done for the public while growing up brought up a spark in him to delve into activism.

Revealing further, he stated that he has been doing activism for a long time before the #EndSars protest in 2020.
