Nollywood actress and media personality Toke Makinwa, has shared a priceless reunion moment with her daughter, Yakira Eliana.

The former OAP shared a video on her Instagram page, noting how despite all her engagements—being a mother is the biggest, as it gives her life.

She shared how she was filming in South Africa for two weeks, which was the longest two weeks of her life, noting how April was emotionally draining.

According to her, there were moments she found it hard to work without her daughter, however, she pressed on, praising mothers for being superheroes without capes.

Finally reuniting with her daughter, she expressed her excitement, affirming her love.

She wrote:
"Of all the crowns I wear, Mother trumps them all. Being your mommy gives me life. I have been away filming a movie in South Africa, and it has been the longest 2/ weeks of my life.

April was emotionally draining, but my daughter gave me life. I look at her and somehow find the strength to push through whatever. Being away was hard; I’d call home crying, then pull myself together to be present at work.

Mothers are superheroes without capes,
We do it all.
I’m home, and she came straight into my arms. That first hug was everything. I love you @yakira_eliana

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Toke Makinwa took to her Instagram page in the early hours of Thursday, August 28, 2025, to announce that she is now a mother, stating that she is happy.

She further appreciated her maker, thanking Him for providing her miracle for her, whom she revealed as Yakira Eliana, Olakitan, lyanuoluwa, Ikeoluwa, Adunola.
