Wunmi Toriola Hits Back At Critics For Labelling Her A YouTube Star
Popular Nollywood actress in the Yoruba movie industry, Wunmi Toriola, has thrown a heavy shade at some of her colleagues in the movie industry.
Wunmi's shade stems from a place of disdain over being labelled a "YouTube Star" by some of her colleagues in the movie industry.
Responding to the shade, the actress hit back by saying that, being labelled a YouTube Star does not hurt her, as she knows some of her colleagues who have not been able to make it on YouTube, yet running to the box office.
Shading further, she stated that some of her critics are not even known in the movie industry, but are rushing to the box office, calling it "branding what she did not know."
She wrote on social media;
"So someone called me a “YouTube star”, and my stubborn me took it in with so much pride …
Some of you have not even conquered YouTube and are are still floating in the box office world,
Yorubas will say “ile o gba ,ona o gba.
Dey play ooooooo
Your colleagues don even know you first before before you dey brand wetin i nor know.
Sha dey play
Nor run your race; dey find Bollywood face
If you see fake pages under the comment, na them
Sitting in a corner, rubbishing people’s effort."
