Joseph Aloba, the father of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has claimed that his grandson, Liam, has no resemblance to his late son.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that late Mohbad died on September 12 2023, and up till now, the cause of the singer's death has not been ascertained. However, fingers have been pointing at the singer's former record label boss, Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry

In a recent interview with Silverbird Television, Joseph Aloba claimed that Liam has no resemblance to his late father, and the fact that his mother has refused to carry out a DNA test further proves it.

The interviewer asked Joseph Aloba if Liam has any resemblance to late Mohbad.

In response, Joseph Aloba said:
“No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me.

“When I demanded DNA, they were supposed to say ‘Daddy go and do it at your convenient time. It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.

“I would only accept Liam as grandson if the DNA test says otherwise."
