Nigerian Nollywood actress, Zainab Balogun has questioned the action of couples who hold different events for for their baby shower and gender reveal.

She revealed that it is a waste of money as it is quite expensive. She stated that it is not necessary for a baby shower and gender reveal to be held separately.

She further reiterated her stance by questioning why the two events will be held separately as the people present on the day of the gender reveal will have to go home to return for the baby shower later. She revealed that it is better for the two events to be held together.

She said; “Gender reveal and baby shower are two separate events with two guests, two separate expenses, same baby…isn’t it excessive.”

The actress's stance has generated numerous comments from Netizens as many criticized her comments, while some supported her stance.
