Davido, one of the greatest Nigerian Afrobeatsn Singer, ignored Burnaboy, Olamide, and other too artists when he acknowledged the major pathfinder for Nigeria's Afrobeat music.

According to Davido in an interview, only he and the Nigerian Grammy award winner, Wizkid are the pioneer who paved the way for the Nigerian Afrobeats.

However, he claimed that he and Wizkid opened the road for artists like Burna Boy, Rema, Fireboy, Mayorkun, and Asake, who are today ruling the world.

His words read:
"Everybody knows, I was one of the first with Wizkid. It feels good seeing that name and new cards coming up. Just like Burnaboy, Rema, Fireboy, and Mayokun killing it now."
