Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie's arrest by the Nigerian Police Force Cybercrime Centre, Abuja, has taken a new turn.

The Nigerian Voice recalls that the founder of BON awards, Seun Oloketuyi, had revealed that Okorie was arrested at her residence by the Nigeria Police Force Cybercrime Centre, Abuja.

Shedding further light, Seun stated that the reason behind Angel Okorie's arrest was related to a "cybercrime" matter involving Mercy Johnson.

In a new development, Seun disclosed that Angela Okorie is currently remanded in Suleja prison, Abuja, and her bail is pending until the date of the adjourned case.

He wrote:
