Reactions Shows Nigerians Are Not Happy With Burnaboy After His  Gesture To A Young European Journalist

By Agboola Ibrahim

Nigerians, particularly, music lovers have expressed their feelings that seem sour and resentful towards Nigeria superstar and Afrobeat singer, Damini Ogulu professionally known as Burnaboy after his generous attitude toward a young European journalist.

Recall that recently in Paris Burna Boy gave a young journalist over $2k, worth 1.5 million Naira approximately, to buy a new camera after she mistakenly broke the one her firm gave her while trying to interview the singer.

According to Lekki Loaded, the yet to be identified journalist was hurrying in a light stampede to interview the artiste when her camera was tossed and broken off her hand. Burna had noticed it and he then ordered his accountant to replace the Panasonic GH6 camera worth 1.5 million Naira.

However, Nigerians have reacted to the report with dismay, noting that if it was in Nigeria Burna would probably have kicked the journalist instead of helping out.

Besides the aforementioned reaction, several reactions about Burnaboy's attitude towards a young journalist reveal that they are not happy with the singer simply because of his ludicrous treatment and attitude towards them. Some internet users said that his attitude is a resultant of his preference for the Europeans rather than blacks.
