Recently, a female POS Operator's plight over her receiving fake #1000 naira notes from an unsuspected customer has begun to trend on social media platforms.

The Pos operator has taken to her social media to lament her anguish for receiving fake new 1000 naira notes from customer.

Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN recently released the redesigned naira notes in the denominations of N200, N500 and N1,000. It's however unfortunate that people have gone to reproduce fake notes of the recently released redesigned notes

Moreover, In the video currently making the round on social media which was shared by the POS operator’s husband, there was a display of the difference between the fake and original #1000 notes.

According to him, the original note has a gold seal at the bottom of the right hand side of the note and the seal cannot be erased when scratched.

While the old one doesn’t have a gold seal at the bottom of the right hand side of the note close to the signatures.
