Former popular rapper Obehi, professionally know as DJ Venum, has spoken about the pleasure that comes with switching to disc jockey.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, Venum spoke about the advantage Disc Jockey job has over rap music. He also spoke about the exciting part of being a Dj.

According to the DJ, he narrated that Dj job affords one the opportunity for other jobs and can as well allow one to perform at different clubs.

His words read partly: “The most exciting part of being a DJ is that it gives one time to prepare for other jobs. I often say that the only people that are allowed to mix business with pleasure are DJs.

“As a DJ, one can play at five different clubs, and that makes it more fun.

“Also, disc jockeying is really easy to catch up with, even if one has zero knowledge about music. I also love the fact that it is flexible; it allows one to have side hustles. I was once a rapper and I did some couple of songs, before switching to disc jockeying. So far, I have no regrets making that decision. And, whenever the inspiration comes, I will definitely go to the studio to record.”
