Popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has got lots of stories to tell about her journey so far in the entertainment industry and trust me, she has learnt a lot and still learning.

She has done lot of movies and created time towards producing hers which has stood her out but deep down inside of her, she knew the personal challenges she was going through.

Her failed marriage to actor, Adeniyi Johnson, also disturbed her without both parties realising how much harm they have both done to each other and more.

Well, thank God all is well now but not without Toyin sharing some of her past which she is not ashamed about as she disclosed that she was once a drug addict that she could not stay without taking now baned drug, Codeine and other substance.

In her words, “I’m going to say it I’m not shy, I had a lot of bad habit but last year was worse. I had to stop codeine, they say codeine makes you high but forget it, I take codeine a lot but I had to stop it. Yes, I did drugs but I had to stop. I did drugs and last year 2017, was crazy for me that I did not know I was looking that horrible because I was very skinny and you know some people around you will not want to tell you the truth because they can see that greatness in you and the only thing they can do to break you is by keeping silent.”
