Film Makers, Others Pick Winners from #SCRIPT2SCREENAFRICA2017 CHALLENGE
In view of the highly anticipated Filmmaking and Acting Reality TV project, “Script 2 Screen Africa” 2017, which is scheduled to hold from July 1 to August 26, 2017, the organizers of the widely acclaimed project, High Definition Film Academy has just released the names of the lucky winners of its GOLD TICKETS in its 2017 Script2Screen Africa Challenge.
The Gold Ticket grants automatic slots to the winners to be numbered among the 60 finalists for the Filmmaking Reality TV project.
Entries were received from across Africa, as well as Africans in diaspora, A cumulative of 20 nominees emerged from the 3 Challenge categories; “Screenplay Challenge”, “Monologue Challenge” and“1 Minute Film”.
This was reviewed to produce the top 3 in each category, and then the eventual winners emerged, the 1 Minute Film Category producing 2 winners.
GOLDEN TICKET WINNERS: Collette Ezenduka – Winner (Monologue Challenge) JennineOkafor – Winner (Screenplay Challenge), Precious Onyeabor – Winner (1 Minute Film Challenge), Joshua Lawrence – Winner (1 Minute Film Challenge).
Script to Screen Africa is a Filmmaking and Acting REALITY TV project that will train aspiring filmmakers and actors using Star Actors and Filmmakers as their mentors, and then make them compete through the production of their own short films.
The 2017 edition is dedicated to Social Justice Filmmaking, and will span for Eight (8) weeks.
