Controversial Nigerian singer and son of late music legend, Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti has aired his view on the issue of naira abuse.
The singer revealed that he is the only artiste who does not entertain the act of spraying money on him, he stated that other artistes enjoy it especially the Fuji and indigenous singers whose performance is measured by how weel their fans spray them.
The artiste’s view is coming after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have begun clamping down on those involved in the act of naira abuse. First ,it was transgender, Bobrisky, then Cubana Chief priest.
He took to his Instagram account to share his view in a video. He said;
“I don’t even like to be sprayed. I’m the only artist that stops people from spraying me. Even my dad, the legendary Fela didn’t prevent people from spraying him but he demanded the denominations he wanted to be sprayed.
“Nobody wey Sunny Ade never sing for so he can be sprayed. Everybody name. KWAM 1 … eh eh. It is the politicians that made spraying a standard behaviour.”
