Popular Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, professionally known as Joeboy has revealed to men what to watch out for in finding true love in a relationship.

The “Alcohol” crooner shedding light on this recently on an episode of Madame Joyce's Cocktails & Takeaways' podcast, stated that if a woman is ready to spend on a man, that is true love. He also stated that men do not really get gifts, but they tend to appreciate it once someone gets them a gift and as such, a woman who genuinely loves her man should ensure she gets gift for him, though it does not necessarily have to be expensive.

In his words, he said;
“The easiest way to know if a woman genuinely likes you is if she’s ready to spend on you.”

“It doesn’t have to be anything crazy [expensive]. It can be just a situation of ‘Oh! I saw this shirt that I really like and I think it will look good on you.”

“Three months into a relationship, you can start expecting gifts from your partner. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, just little things.

“A lot of people don’t understand that men are not used to getting gifts so whenever they get a gift even if it’s socks, we appreciate it a lot.”

He finally revealed that he could end up marrying his current girlfriend as he described his relationship as; “Pure intense helpless love."
