I’ve Never Kissed or Hug a Woman on Set… Actor, Nuhu Abdullahi Denies
Popular Kannywood actor, Nuhu Abdullahi, has been doing well for himself in the Kannywood industry but as a Muslim, he is one who is ready to abide by the rules guiding the industry.
Speaking about the industry recently he pointed out that it is actually a rule in the industry banning actors from touching, hugging or kissing on set.
Nuhu confessed that all through his acting career in the industry, he has never hug or kissed any woman on set.
When asked if he has ever hugged or kiss a lady on set he replied, “Yes, you cannot touch or kiss any woman on set.”
He further added that the movies they make is mainly for the Muslim brethren which is why the norms and values needs to be respected.
“It’s a rule not to touch, hug, or kiss on set. In fact, religion and culture come first in Kannywood. Basically, we are producing these movies for our Muslim brethren, and it’s against the norms and values of our religion to touch or kiss a lady in a movie, so we must abide by it.”
