In 2013, former Big Brother Africa housemate Pokello Nare went to the competition to win the $300,000 prize package. Lover boy, Elikem Kumordzie was seen as a distraction during the competition and she never thought that she will ever get close to him after the show.

The love affair of the pair started in South Africa when the two were struggling to win the prize package and became stronger after they left the house.

Pokello Nare revealed how things turned out for them in the house “I was losing focus on the grand prize. At first, I thought I would handle it but the more I tried to handle it, the more it got out of hand”, she said.

In 2014, Elikem proposed to Pokello in 2014 during the Ghana Music Awards and in 2015, they got married. Elikem paid a sum of $25,000 as Pokello's bride price. “I initially didn't want to make this information public but people are getting figures wrong so I want to correct it. The lobola (Bride price for a traditional marriage in Zimbabwe) was 25,000 US Dollars. A deposit of 20,000 US Dollars was paid on Saturday and the 5,000 US Dollars balance is to be paid by the white wedding” he revealed

Today, they are blessed with a baby.
