YBNL's 'Orente' crooner, Adekunle Gold, recently released another single titled 'Pick up' which has been gaining some airplay and downloads.

The singer, who has risen to fame within his short venture into the Nigerian music industry, is in no rush to release an album yet as his plans to ensure that he is able to hold his teaming fans with various great tunes that they will be able to remember him with.

Recently, the singer decided to explain what gave him the inspiration for writing his latest single 'Pick Up,' which he says was born out of the fact that he was snubbed at an event because of the kind of car he drove and was not given a parking space which happened about six months ago.

According to him, “About six months ago, I went for a gig I was billed to perform at. When we arrived at the venue of the event in my baby boy, security said there was no parking space inside. My manager, stepped up to him and explained that I could not park outside but for me I do not like wahala , I wanted to park outside but Louis, my manager, insisted that he saw spots we could park inside.

“We were there for about five minutes talking and talking; behold! A tear rubber Range Rover drove to the same gate and the guards with no question whatsoever opened the gate. I could not even weep; it was then dawned on me that I had a car that was invented in 1999. When I got home that night, 'Pick up' was waiting for me to write.”

The singer has singles like 'Sade' which was the first track that brought him fame followed by 'Orente' which has continued to serve as ring back tunes on many phones.
