Fuji artiste, Remi Aluko has revealed that the reason why Fuji music is not making wave like hip-hop is as a result of non-collaboration and remix of songs by Fuji musicians.

“If you take a look at the hip-hop singers, they do remixes of their songs as well as collaborations. They don't just release songs anyhow,” Remi noted.

He further stated that apart from that, music promoters should also be held responsible because the much talk about royalties in Nigeria is just a lie.

“The so-called promoters are not helping matters. We talk about royalties in Nigeria. The truth is, it is this promoters that mismanage these royalties that is being talked about,” the musician said.

It would be recalled that sometime ago, it was sometimes speculated that the Fuji act was blind as a result of the beating he allegedly recieved from the police over an alleged Blackberry theft.
