Founder and leader of the award-winning band, Akiin Tofowomo, suffered polio as a child, but today he has emerged number one band leader in Nigeria.

His story is an inspiration to many and he has taken it upon himself to throw his full weight behind those living with polio.

This is does with his Shuga Limb Foundation. The foundation has given voice and confidence to victims of polio.

At a recently held event in Lagos, Akiin delivered a breath-taking performance, which was hailed by those present. He rendered an inspirational song titled 'I Can Walk', dedicated to survivors of polio, which was complemented by the Shuga band.
