Lieutenant Ebitimi Owei Who Died In Yola Plane Crash Buried(Pictures)

The body of the late Fight Lieutenant Ebitimi Owei, a military pilot who died in the Nigerian Airforce fighter jet crash in Yola, Adamawa state on Saturday October 10th, has been laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery, Abuja, today October 16th.

This accident happened one month after a Nigerian Air Force aircraft crashed into a house in Kaduna, an F7-Ni fighter jet belonging to the Nigerian Air Force has crashed in Adamawa with no survivor.

According to multiple reports, the fighter jet crashed at about 4:23pm in Hong local government area of Adamawa while returning to the Airforce base. Information released by the NAF spokesman, Dele Alonge revealed that the fighter jet crashed as a result of bad weather conditions.

Owei was deployed to combat terrorism in the North East but he ended up losing his life. He was born on 13 October 1984 and commissioned in 2008. He was survived by wife, two children, siblings and parents.
