Did Castro Predict His Own Death The Same Way It Happened?

Hip-life artiste, Theophilus Tagoe popularly known as Castro who was reportedly dead last week with his female companion, Janet, went missing while jet skiing in the waters of Ada in Ghana. READ IT HERE if you missed it.

According to reports, it appears that a year ago, the rapper seems to have predicted his death in exactly the same manner it happened.

Although the Marine division of the Ghanaian Police has intensified search operations on Monday, but as at today, hopes of finding Castro and Janet alive seem to have been lost.

With different tales of the possible cause of his death emerging from different quarters, there are indications that he might have predicted how he will die in one of his songs. From information we gathered, in a song released last year titled 'She Dey Do Me,' the hip-life artiste's lyrics is a clear picture of events that led to his possible death.

In the song, Castro sings in 'Ga' a Ghanaian language. The translation of the song reads:

“I fell into a river and began to swim
I felt the sweetness of it and I began to struggle
The river should carry me away
I followed the sweetness of sugar
And brought trouble upon myself.”

Could this mean the artiste predicted his death? We recall that similar occurrence happened in the case of late Yoruba rapper, Da'Garin who died in a terrible accident in April 2010. This was after he did a song indicating that he should not be mourned if he died.

According to the song “Da'Garin said “If I die make una no cry for me.” After the release of the song, it emerged as the most requested song on Nigerian radios in 2010 some weeks after his death.
