The singer cum actress, who played the lead role in the first Nigerian telenovela 'Taste of Love' as Adesuwa, says people should not judge as a promiscuous person due to the role she played in the TV series.

Shaffy who in the series happened to have dated both the father and son at the same time explained that as an actress, she is being paid to interpret scripts and people should not just read unnecessary meaning to what they see in movies.

While speaking with Encomium on the perception people have about her role In the TV series she said, “That's the height of ignorance. I'm an actress, interpreting roles. I can play a prostitute, unfaithful wife or mistress, drug addict. I'm an actor. I'm paid for the character I play. So, it has nothing to do with me.”

Married for 19 years now, blessed with two children, the actress looking at her career in music noted that she has not abandoned music but only trying to focus on acting for now which has been coming her way.
