Fathia Balogun Is My Sister —Akindele
Globacom Ambassador, Funke 'Jenifer' Akindele, has denied alleged supremacy clash between her and another top Nollywood actress, Fathia Balogun.
Responding to a poser on a radio programme, Akindele described Fathia Balogun as her elder sister and colleague with whom she featured in Dagrin and Show Me D Money in different jobs.
“Fathia is my senior sister who has even started this job before me. There is no cause for supremacy clash at all.
“She is a fantastic actress and as a senior colleague and sister, I love and respect her and will always do,” she declared.
Meanwhile, a follow up to her highly successful home movie, Jenifer 1 & 2 entitled The Return Of Jenifer, is due for release soon.
According to her, the work touches on issues such as campaign against stigmatisation of HIV/AIDS patients, idleness and social vices among the youths which were not in parts one and two of the film.
