Choc City Star, Victoria Kimani At War With Kenyans
Choc City singer, Vitoria Kimani, may have stepped on the wrong toes after she shared her thoughts on how Kenyans neglect their own acts and celebrate artistes from other countries.
She had said, “We (Kenyans) are the least patriotic people on this continent as it pertains to the arts; the least supportive. Kenyans make it hard for an artist to be an artist, this includes fashion, art, music, acting, whatever.”
But this statement angered some of her people, who slammed her. They claimed she is not known in the East African country and cannot get their support.
However, when the criticisms became too hot for her to bear, Victoria claimed she only made the comments to get their attention and get them support her in winning in the forthcoming African Entertainment Awards, where she is a nominee.
