Ahmed Abiola Akinbiyi Lawal, known professionally as Bella Shmurda or fine boi Bella, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. In his list of who deserves to be called a musician, he left out top singers like Davido, Wizzy, Olamide, to mention a few; but included Burnaboy and others.

In a recent interview, Bella Shmurda emphatically distinguished the difference between artistes and musician. To Bella it takes more than just being able to sing to be called a musician. He described artiste as "just singer and trend".

However, his endless list of worthy musicians include Burna Boy, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Angelique Kidjo, Wasiy Ayinde, Pasuma and himself. Bella stated that artistes simply jump on trends but do not have the passion to create music on their own.

His statement read partly: Bella Shmurda: "Artistes are just singers; artistes na trend. Fela na musician, Wasiu Ayinde, Pasuma is a musician, Burnaboy is a musician. He is not an artiste. Anjeli kijoe is a musician, she is not an artiste. Bella Shmurda is a musician not. Artiste is someone that is known for singing and is different from someone that is doing music. Singing is different from music. I can sing your own song; but creating your own song and developing your own sounds is a musician. Artiste can just sing..."
